Способ состоит в том, что в качестве углерода для синтеза карбида хрома используется углерод, осаждаемый предварительно из газообразных углеводородов или их смесей, на поверхность частиц оксида хрома. Осаждение углерода на поверхность частиц оксида из газовой фазы обеспечивает больший выход карбида относительно объема исходного материала, большую активность используемой для получения карбида хрома реакционной системы, что позволяет снизить температуру реакции карбидообразования на 50 - 100 oС. Способ позволяет получать карбид не только в виде порошка, но и в виде изделий определенной формы.The invention relates to the production of carbide materials.
