SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger contains working members with inner chamber connected to flow section of first heat transfer agent and provided with corrugated heat-exchange surface and header edges; tube sheets with holes where working members are mounted by their header edges; end shields forming the headers for supply and discharge of first heat transfer agent together with tube sheets. Each working member is made of two plates connected over outer edges and located in one plane. Heat exchange surfaces of plates are formed by curvilinear crossing corrugations; header edges are located at a distance of 0.3-1 of corrugation height from plane of outer edges. Header edges are located symmetrically relative to plane of symmetry of plane. Total width of header edges is less than or equal to width of plates. Working members are connected in tube sheet forming clearance between them by the second heat transfer agent equal to 0.5-6 of height of corrugation. Outer edges of plates of each working member are interconnected on side of supply and discharge of first heat transfer agent. Plate is secured to outer edges of end plates of working members on side of supply and discharge of first heat transfer agent. Plates of working members are provided with extrusions which are engageable between each other forming fins located in flow section of first heat transfer agent. Headers are provided with deflectors forming turning chambers for successive and/or parallel connection of working members. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
