Abstract

FIELD: animal husbandry, veterinary. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises semen-filled tube and stylet. Tube interior houses piston made of polymer and having cylindrically shaped body with expanded ends. Frustoconically shaped projection having smaller diameter than piston is attached by its base to cylindrical body. Three-step cylindrical cavity having constrictions at junction point of each step is formed inside piston body and projection. Tip of metal stylet is provided with circular groove, diameter of which is close to, or coincides with, diameter of constrictions of three-step interior cavity of piston. Apparatus can be used for artificial insemination of cattle, cows and heifers, with semen frozen in granules and defrosted without using sodium citrate. Invention can be used both on large scale in cattle-raising enterprises and farms, and in private households. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in inseminating cattle. 3 dwg

Изобретение относится к животноводству и ветеринарии, в частности к инструментам для размножения животных методом искусственного осеменения, преимущественно крупного рогатого скота. Оно направлено на повышение эффективности осеменения животных путем создания устройства, обеспечивающего осеменения коров и телок замороженным в гранулах и оттаянным без цитрата натрия семенем. Устройство включает трубку для размещения в ней семени и стилет, причем полость трубки снабжена полимерным поршнем, состоящим из цилиндрического остова с расширением на концах и меньшего диаметра, чем остов, выступа, выполненного в виде усеченного конуса, основанием соединенного с остовом. Внутри остова и выступа выполнена трехзвенная цилиндрическая полость с сужением в месте соединения каждого звена. Конец металлического стилета снабжен кольцевой выточкой диаметром, близким или совпадающим с диаметром сужений трехзвенной полости поршня. Изобретение применимо в практике разведения животных методом искусственного осеменения на фермах и комплексах сельскохозяйственных предприятий различных категорий, а также в подсобных хозяйствах населения.The invention relates to livestock and veterinary medicine, in particular to tools for breeding animals by artificial insemination, mainly cattle. Inside the skeleton and protrusion, a three-link cylindrical cavity is made with narrowing at the junction of each link. The end of the metal stylet is equipped with an annular undercut with a diameter close to or coinciding with the diameter of the narrowings of the three-link piston cavity. The invention is applicable in the practice of breeding animals by artificial insemination on farms and complexes of agricultural enterprises of various categories, as well as in household plots.
