Abstract

FIELD: secure identification. SUBSTANCE: method involves putting strip which has diffraction pattern on article to labeled. Said strip has area where sequential elements with diffraction pattern are located . Each element is used for diffraction of light which is received from light source from at least one of three chosen different planes. Diffraction pattern elements are exposed to light and variations in plane of diffracted light are measured in process of sequential illumination of these elements with diffraction pattern. First information representation is generated for changes in these plane. Said information representation is stored and each subsequent sequential illumination of elements with diffraction patterns and detection of changes in plane of diffracted light are used for generation of second information representation which is compared against first one in order to detect authenticity of this article. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.

Claims (1)
