Abstract

FIELD: transportation and storage of spent nuclear fuel. SUBSTANCE: container for transportation and/or storage of spent nuclear fuel has internal and external cylindrical shells with bottoms, the space between the shells is filled with heavy-weight concrete. The above space and container interior use a sealed covering in the form of two covers installed one above the other on a common foundation and forming two concentric sealing contours with the latter. Reinforcement in the form of a grating is placed inside the concrete filler in a spaced relation to the external cylindrical shell. The grating has annular and longitudinal members connected to the bottom of the external shall and foundation of the covers. A screening force sleeve, connected to the foundation of the covers and linked with the grating by bars, is installed between the grating and internal cylindrical shell in a spaced relation to the latter. In the variant of the offered invention the space between the grating and external cylindrical shell is filled with concrete of a lower strength. EFFECT: enhanced protection of container in emergencies due to enhanced strength characteristics of the container and reliability of sealing of its interior. 3 cl, 3 dwg

Claims (1)

Изобретение обеспечивает повышение защиты контейнера для транспортировки и/или хранения отработавшего ядерного топлива (ОЯТ) при аварийных ситуациях путем повышения прочностных характеристик контейнера и надежности герметизации его внутренней полости. Контейнер для транспортировки и/или хранения ОЯТ содержит металлические внутреннюю и наружную цилиндрические оболочки с днищами, полость между которыми заполнена тяжелым бетоном. Упомянутая полость и внутренняя полость контейнера имеют герметичное перекрытие в виде двух крышек, установленных одна над другой на общем основании и образующих с последним два концентричных герметизирующих контура. Внутри бетонного заполнителя с зазором относительно наружной цилиндрической оболочки размещено армирование в виде решетки. Решетка состоит из кольцевых и продольных элементов, соединенных с днищем наружной оболочки и основанием крышек. Между решеткой и внутренней цилиндрической оболочкой с зазором относительно последней установлен экранирующий силовой стакан, соединенный с основанием крышек и связанный с решеткой стержнями. В варианте исполнения изобретения зазор между решеткой и наружной цилиндрической оболочкой заполнен бетоном меньшей прочности.The invention provides increased protection of the container for transportation and / or storage of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) in emergency situations by increasing the strength characteristics of the container and the reliability of sealing its internal cavity. A reinforcement in the form of a lattice is placed inside the concrete aggregate with a gap relative to the outer cylindrical shell. The grill consists of annular and longitudinal elements connected to the bottom of the outer shell and the base of the covers. Between the grate and the inner cylindrical shell with a gap relative to the latter, a shielding power cup is installed, connected to the base of the covers and connected to the grating by rods. In an embodiment of the invention, the gap between the grate and the outer cylindrical shell is filled with concrete of lower strength.
