An axillary re-drainage device, including Vasofix armor for intravenous administration, a transfusion system with a single-use plastic needle, an adapter from the drainage assembly, a reservoir for secreted lymph, a patch.
Description
The utility model relates to medical equipment and can be used for repeated drainage of the axillary region in order to evacuate accumulated lymph after radical mastectomies.
To evacuate accumulated lymph, the most widely used is closed vacuum drainage, which promotes the bonding of flaps with the underlying tissues (Atlas of Oncological Operations / Ed. By Peterson B.E., Chissov V.I., Paches A.I. - M .: Medicine, 1987 . - 536 p.). The specified method of drainage is carried out after the stage of radical mastectomy by introducing a drainage tube through the contralertum along the front axillary line and connecting it to a vacuum reservoir to collect lymph.
However, the time interval for constant vacuum drainage of the axillary region is limited to 7-8 days due to possible infection of the postoperative wound. Further lymph evacuation is carried out by the puncture method, the interval between the punctures is different, determined by the rate of lymph accumulation and can vary from 2 to 7 days. With a high rate of excretion by the crossed lymph vessels of the lymph, the need for daily punctures arises, which creates the prerequisites for infection of the postoperative wound. In this case, repeated drainage of the cavity is carried out by additional incision of the skin, subcutaneous tissue in the axillary region under local anesthesia and the introduction of a silicone drainage tube into the cavity.
The authors have developed and put into practice a device for re-draining the axillary region, with which these disadvantages can be overcome.
The use of the claimed device in clinical practice allows achieving several technical (medical) results:
- возможность дренирования без дополнительного разреза,- the possibility of drainage without an additional incision,
- асептичность,- asepticity,
- простота использования,- ease of use,
- возможность дренирования без местной анестезии,- the possibility of drainage without local anesthesia,
- возможность повторных дренирований с целью замены системы.- the possibility of repeated drains in order to replace the system.
Устройство включает в себя детали, выпускаемые медицинской промышленностью: бронюля Vasofix для внутривенного введения препаратов, система трансфузионная с пластиковой иглой однократного применения - трубчатая система, переходник от узла для дренирования, резервуар для выделяемой лимфы, фиксирующий пластырь (например, «Cosmopor»).The device includes parts manufactured by the medical industry: Vasofix armor for intravenous administration of drugs, a transfusion system with a single-use plastic needle - a tubular system, an adapter from the drainage unit, a reservoir for the secreted lymph, a fixing patch (for example, Cosmopor).

The procedure for draining the axillary region using the inventive device is as follows.
Under aseptic and antiseptic conditions, a Vasofix armor needle (3) is inserted along the mid-axillary line in the projection of the resulting lymphatic cavity in the axillary region, using the Vasofix armor (1). After receiving the lymph, the needle (3) is removed, a flexible armor catheter (4) remains in the cavity. The armor is fixed to the skin with an adhesive bandage. The needle is removed from the transfusion tubular system (2), the system is connected to the armored body introduced into the cavity. The tubular system is connected to the reservoir (6) for secreted lymph using an adapter (5). A soft silicone catheter remains in the axillary cavity, through which lymph enters the drainage and reservoir. Released lymph accumulates in the reservoir for collecting lymph.
