The proposed utility model relates to devices for the convenience of reading from pages of books, magazines and other stitched products, namely, bookmarks, and can be used to fix pages in a readable publication.

Known bookmark, intended for laying between sheets of books for quick reading, made in the form of a flat element in the form of a triangle with a protrusion with a notch in one of the corners and a stop to place the bottom of the book in it, located in a vertical position with a slope. (Russian Patent No. 2022795, B 42 D 9/00, 1994).

The limited area of use of the known bookmark is due to the possibility of its use only in certain conditions, namely, when working at the table.

Also known is a bookmark for books containing a strip of flexible material having a slot and movable elements with a label for fixing the page and line. The ends of the strip of the bookmark are made with folds to cover the pages.

Constructive implementation of the well-known bookmark, requiring the use of easily bendable material when repeatedly moving from page to page, changing the position of the folds when choosing books of a different format, will lead to a quick loss of the bookmark's presentation, damage and deterioration of fixation on the pages, as well as creasing of the part that extends beyond the page bookmarks when transporting books. In addition, the implementation of these actions is also possible when working in stationary conditions, i.e. at the desktop and it seems difficult to use the well-known bookmarks by children, in transport or in the field for keeping work records.

The purpose of creating the proposed utility model is to expand the scope of the bookmark, simplifying the design and increasing its service life.

This goal is achieved by the fact that the bookmark, intended for laying between the sheets of the book to quickly find the desired page, made in the form of a flat element, according to the proposal, is equipped with a latch that is connected to the flat element by means of a flexible connecting element, and the latch is made in the form of a flat elastic clamping.

The proposed constructive implementation of the bookmark provides the possibility of its reliable fixation either by binding the book, or, if necessary, inserting a certain part of the text in the entire publication for sheets, which prevents the loss of the bookmark when working with the book in any

adverse conditions. At the same time, the use of the proposed bookmark does not interfere with reading or writing, the presence of a connecting element makes it possible to use it when working with books of various formats, and the use of a flat elastic clip will not lead to deformation and damage to the book.

The proposed tab is made in the form of a flat flexible element 1, by means of a flexible element 2 is connected to the latch 3, made in the form of a flat elastic clamp.

Element 1 can be made of arbitrary shape using various materials: paper, plastic, wood or leather and others. On the element 1 can be made drawings, inscriptions. In order to prevent damage to the book, the thickness of the material used should not exceed 0.3 -1.0 mm. The elastic flat clamp can also be made of these materials. Moreover, the shape of the clamp 3 may also be different. For example, it is possible to produce a clamp 3 in the form of an anchor (Fig. 1,2), U-shaped (Fig. 3) or in the form of a flat corner (Fig. 4). The efforts created by the clamp 3 while ensuring its reliable fixation should not lead to damage to the binding or sheets of the book. The connecting element 2 is, for example, 150 to 300 mm long. For its manufacture can be used cord, braid, chain, etc. Depending on the material used, the connection of the element 2 with the clamp 3 and the element 1 is carried out either by gluing, or through the holes made in them.

When using the proposed bookmarks, the binding or book sheets are first connected to the clip 3. For this purpose, for example, clamp 3 in the form of an anchor is placed on the fixed pages, tucked into the slots and tighten clamp 3 to the end of the pages with the base of the anchor. After that, the element 1 can be placed in the desired place. When you work and move the book, a securely fixed bookmark is one with the book and will not be lost. At the beginning of work with the book, it is advisable to connect the clip with subsequent pages or binding, at the end - with the previous ones.

Thus, the use of the proposed utility model can significantly simplify the manufacture of bookmarks and its use, thereby expanding the number of possible users. Moreover, the possibility of using the proposed bookmark for publications of various formats, as well as in adverse conditions, distinguishes it from known solutions.
