Поставленная цель осуществляется воздействием медицинскими пиявками на следующие точки челюстно-лицевой области: "триггерные" или "курковые" зоны; места выхода ветвей тройничного нерва на лицо; биологически активные точки лица, используемые в классической акупунктуре; зоны болезненной иррадиации. Предложенный способ лечения позволяет купировать болевой синдром в короткое время, повысить эффективность лечения и удлинить ремиссию, использовать его у всех групп больных, т.к. не имеет противопоказаний к применению, за исключением гемофилии, и сократить сроки лечения.The invention relates to medicine, namely to facial neurology and can be used in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.
