Abstract

FIELD: conversion of heat to mechanical energy by using waste heat of industrial and power-generating plants. SUBSTANCE: method depends for using lifting force of water and building up torque due to difference in lifting forces acting on working chamber whose parts are placed in liquid of different temperatures. Method can be used at lower temperatures not exceeding 100 C. EFFECT: simplified procedure, enlarged functional capabilities, improved environmental friendliness, improved energy conservation in industry and power engineering.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to methods for converting thermal energy into mechanical energy by using thermal waste from industry and energy. The aim of the invention is to simplify the conversion method, expand the scope to lower temperatures, not exceeding +100 o C, and eliminate environmental hazards. This goal is achieved by using the lifting force of water and creating a torque due to the difference in lifting forces acting on the working chamber located in its different parts in a liquid with different temperatures. The invention can serve as an effective means of energy conservation in industry and energy.
