В горизонтальном герметичном насосе, содержащем рабочее колесо, установленное на валу электродвигателя с автономным контуром охлаждения, имеющим вспомогательный импеллер, для осуществления циркуляции охлаждающей жидкости, расположенной на другом конце вала электродвигателя, во всасывающей полости вспомогательного импеллера, размещен рабочий орган обратимой гидромашины, имеющей собственный привод. Привод обратимой гидромашины выполнен в виде электродвигателя, имеющего возможность работать в режиме генератора.
