Abstract

FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: generator has outer casing formed as cylindrical sleeve made from steel or other fire-resistant metal, inner casing formed as cylindrical sleeve made from metal similar to that of outer casing and having bottom with large opening, pyrotechnic charge formed as flat cartridge, charge igniter, flame suppressor formed as coiled metal tape with closely spaced coils or cast cylindrical cartridge made from fire-resistant concrete and provided with closely spaced parallel cylindrical openings of small section, reflector formed as round metal washer, generator cover made from steel or other fire- resistant metal and provided with peripheral arched aerosol discharge openings hermetically sealed with foil. Generator is initiated by thermal cord, when room temperature exceeds threshold value (for instance over 80 C), by electric igniter actuated by automatic fire detecting system or manually, by manual mechanical igniter, and generates for short time interval large amounts of fire-extinguishing cooled ecologically safe aerosol. Aerosol temperature is below ignition threshold of highly inflammable products. Outer surface of generator is heated to temperature which does not provoke secondary ignition of products. EFFECT: increased efficiency and ecological safety.

Генератор огнетушащего аэрозоля (ГОА) представляет собой пиротехническое устройство, предназначенное для объемного тушения пожаров класса "В" в полном объеме и объемного тушения пламени и локализации пожаров класса "А". Он состоит: из внешнего корпуса в форме цилиндрического стакана из стали или другого жаропрочного металла, внутреннего корпуса в форме цилиндрического стакана из аналогичного внешнему корпусу металла, дно которого содержит большие отверстия, пиротехнического заряда в виде плоской шашки, воспламенителя заряда, пламягасителя в виде либо густой спирали из тонкой металлической ленты, либо литой цилиндрической шашки с густо расположенными параллельно цилиндрическими отверстиями малого сечения, изготовленной из жаропрочного бетона, отражателя в форме круглой металлической шайбы, крышки ГОА из стали или другого жаропрочного металла, по внешнему периметру которой имеются дугообразные выходные для аэрозоля отверстия, закрытые герметично до срабатывания ГОА фольгой. При срабатывании: от термошнура при повышении температуры в помещении выше порогового значения (например более 80°С), от электровоспламенителя, приводимого в действие от автоматической системы обнаружения пожара или вручную, от механического воспламенителя вручную, ГОА в течение малого интервала времени вырабатывает большое количество огнетушащего экологически безопасного для людей охлажденного аэрозоля.
