Like terminals of the winding parts which are not connected with unlike terminals of the other winding parts are electrically connected to each other through a switching device. EFFECT: reduced loss in rotor and higher reliability of the machine because of possibility to use the entire excitation winding at any moment of rotation of rotor. 9 dwg
