The invention relates to medicine and biology, can be implemented in the practice of histological laboratories. The purpose of the invention is the replacement of expensive and inaccessible synthetic resins for the conclusion and storage of stained histological sections with a widespread and cheap material. For the conclusion and long-term storage of stained histological preparations, a 19-21% solution of polystyrene foam in xylene is used, stabilized by the addition of dimethyl phthalate at the rate of 1: 100. After applying a drop of the solution to the slice and drying, the latter is enclosed in a transparent and storage-stable material in the form of a film. They can be stored in plain paper bags without direct sunlight for an indefinite period of time. The solution is easily made and stored for a long time under normal conditions without changes.
