Claims (1)

The gaseous reactant contains ammonia, water, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, lower alcohol, alkylamine, polyamine, phosphine or polar refrigerant, which has at least one free electron pair, and the solid reactant contains inorganic salt. Other improvements include a steam recuperator for heat exchange between the refrigerant flowing from the reactors to the condenser and from the evaporator to the reactors, and a liquid subcooler for thermal exchange to cool the refrigerant flowing from the condenser, with the cold vapor leaving the evaporator.
