Abstract

FIELD: geochronology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for evaluation of environment and relative time of formation of ore deposits. Sample of rock is polarized in corona discharge. After polarization spectrum is measured at rate of linear heating 1 C/min. Then sample is annealed to remove effects of natural radiation of crystal. Annealed sample is irradiated with fixed ionizing radiation. To pick off information crystal is polarized in corona discharge and heated to register current. By dependence of current on known dose of radiation point of maximum of previous (before annealing) measurement of current is found and by it dose of radiation stored by sample during its residence in earth is determined. For determination of age dose of background radiation of surrounding rocks at placed of recovery of crystals of samples is found. EFFECT: simplification of method.

Claims (1)

The alleged invention relates to the field of geochronology and can be used to assess the nature and relative time of formation of ore deposits. The purpose of the invention is the simplification of the method. The inventive sample is polarized in a corona discharge, after polarization, the TSD spectrum is measured at a linear heating rate of 1 ° C / min. Then the sample is annealed to remove the effect of natural irradiation of the crystal. The annealed sample is irradiated with fixed ionizing radiation. To take information, the crystal is polarized in a corona discharge, after which it is heated, registering the TSD current. From the dependence of the TSD current on the known radiation dose, the maximum point of the previous (before annealing) measurement of the TSD current is found and the radiation dose stored by the sample during its stay in the ground is determined from it. To determine the age, the dose of background radiation of the surrounding rocks is determined at the place of extraction of the sample crystals.
