Изобретение относится к химической промышленности и может быть использовано в производстве люминофоров для цветных проекционных электровакуумных приборов (ПЭВП). Сущность изобретения заключается в том, что люминесцентная композиция, включающая силикатный люминофор состава M3MgSi2O8 Eu, где M - стронций, и/или кальций, и/или барий, дополнительно содержит люминофор синего цвета свечения на основе сульфида цинка при соотношении компонентов (1 : 99) - (99 : 1), при этом отношение средних размеров частиц этих люминофоров находится в пределах ( 5 : 1) - (1 : 5).
