Abstract

FIELD: medical technology, measurement of arterial pressure. SUBSTANCE: device has compression cuff 1 with implanted pulse wave sensor 2; output pneumatic tube of cuff 4 is connected through pneumatic tubes 9 to first input 11 of pneumatic chamber 13, as well as to pressure sensor 3 installed in data processing unit 8 where output of pulse wave sensor 2 is switched on. Second input 10 of pneumatic chamber 13 is connected through additional pneumatic resistor 12 to first output 15 of dead chamber 21; second output 16 of dead chamber 21 is connected to input of sensing element 17 and on its rigid center damper 18 of variable pneumatic "nozzle-damper" resistor is mounted. Pneumatic chamber 13 is connected through nozzle 19 and pneumatic tube 20 to input of normally closed valve 22 and its output communicates with atmosphere. Output of data processing unit 8 is switched on to indicator 14. Compression cuff 1 is connected through pneumatic tube 6 and valve unit 7 to compressor 5. EFFECT: improved accuracy in measuring arterial pressure due to stabilization of rate of changing pressure inside cuff during measurement.
