Abstract

FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of concentration of liquid media, specifically, measurement of concentration of oil in highly flooded emulsions. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in systems of automatization of processes of oil production and refining. Method is based on relation of electric conductance of medium and content of oil in it and involves joint determination of electric conductance and ambient temperature. Specific feature of method consists in additional measurement of damping of SHF radiation and in finding of sought-for value of oil content in water by formula N = a+ ae + am + aT, where N is sought-for value of content of oil in water;are constant coefficients determined during calibration; e, m, T are measured values of electric conductance, damping of SHF radiation and temperature correspondingly. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy. 1 dwg

Claims (1)

The invention relates to measuring technique, is intended for measuring the concentration of liquid media, in particular for measuring the concentration of oil in a highly watered emulsion, and can be used in automation systems for oil production and processing. Purpose: improving the accuracy of measurement. The method is based on the connection of the electrical conductivity of the medium and the oil content in it, and includes a joint determination of the electrical conductivity and temperature of the medium. A distinctive feature of the method is the additional measurement of the attenuation of microwave radiation and the determination of the desired oil content in water by the formula N = a 0 + a 1 e + a 2 m + a 3 T, where N is the desired value of the oil content in water; a 0 , a 1 , a 2 , a 3 - constant coefficients determined during graduation; e, m, T - measured values of electrical conductivity, attenuation of microwave radiation and temperature, respectively.
