Abstract

FIELD: agricultural dusting machines for spraying fertilizers and chemicals. SUBSTANCE: device is used as external store on helicopters "MИ-1" and "Ka-26" and aircraft "AH-2" and "ЯK-12". Spraying the chemicals is effected by air jet. Such devices do not provide wide band of spraying chemicals. Some devices employ method of acceleration of particles of chemicals by means of centrifugal wheel; in this case width of spraying chemical is greater. Two methods of creating directed jet of chemicals by means of centrifugal wheel: 1 use of wheel with volute; 2 - feeding a loose chemical to wheel along its axis of rotation through loading hole, after which jet comes off wheel in required direction. When use is made of centrifugal wheel provided with volute, considerable power losses take place due to friction of particles of chemical over curvilinear sections of volute. Supply of chemicals to centrifugal wheel through loading hole at high consumption of chemicals fails to provide compact jet since sizes of holes through which chemicals are fed to wheel become comparable with sizes of wheel proper. Width of band is reduced due to impossibility to form compact jet of chemicals, thus reducing efficiency of such centrifugal spraying. Used as prototype of spraying device is device described in Inventors Certificate No.1108683. Used as supply hole in this device is circular clearance between cone and neck ferrule. Such construction provides for forming bridges since area of section of circular passage is always lesser than critical, especially for moist chemicals. Centrifugal wheel of prototype does not form compact jet of chemicals being sprayed, thus reducing range of spraying and consequently efficiency of use of helicopter. EFFECT: elimination of above-mentioned disadvantages of prototype and other known centrifugal sprayers. 5 cl, 4 dwg

4 з.п. A device for spreading bulk materials from an aircraft refers to agricultural dusters with bulk fertilizers and chemicals and is intended for use mainly on the external suspension of helicopters or directly on helicopters. Agricultural pollinators are known for use on AN-2, YAK-12 aircraft and MI-1 and Ka-26 helicopters, which use an air stream to disperse chemicals. Such devices do not allow to obtain a large dispersion bandwidth of the chemical. Bulk material spreaders are also known using the method of dispersing particles of chemicals using a centrifugal wheel, which have advantages over air pollinators with respect to the width of the processed strip and are increasingly used. Two methods are known for creating a directed jet of a chemical using a centrifugal wheel: using a wheel with a scroll and feeding a loose chemical onto the wheel along its axis of rotation through the feed opening, after which the jet comes off the wheel in a given direction. The use of a centrifugal wheel with a cochlea is associated with significant energy losses due to the friction of the chemical particles on the curved sections of the cochlea. The chemical supply to the centrifugal wheel through the feed openings at high chemical flow rates does not provide a compact jet, since the size of the hole through which fertilizer is fed to the wheel becomes comparable to the size of the wheel itself. The inability to obtain a compact sharply directed chemical stream reduces the width of the processed strip and reduces the efficiency of using such a centrifugal spreader on an aircraft. The prototype is a device for spraying bulk materials from an aircraft, described by USSR author's certificate N 1108683. In this device, the expendable hole is an annular gap between the cone and the neck of the neck. For chemicals used in agriculture, taking into account the real conditions of their use, this design is subject to the formation of arches, because the cross-sectional area of the annular channel will always be less than critical, especially for wet chemicals. In the prototype, the centrifugal wheel does not form a spreadable chemical in a compact stream, which reduces the range of spreading of chemicals and, as a result, the effectiveness of the use of a helicopter. The aim of the present invention is to remedy these disadvantages of the prototype and other known centrifugal spreaders. 4 s.p. f-ly, 4 ill.
