Abstract

FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology; may be used in treatment of transudative maculopathies of different etiology. SUBSTANCE: method includes puncture of the internal wall of sub- or intra-retinal cavity with its subsequent emptying. Puncture is effected by YAG-laser action in lower or temporal zone of the cavity by 1-3 pulses with intensity of 6-8 mJ each, depending on the appearance of transudate with spontaneous emptying into vitreous body. Method provides for proper adjoining of layers of retina with the help of laser action. EFFECT: reduced operating injury and operative and postoperative complications.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in the treatment of transudative maculopathies of various etiologies. The objective of the invention is to ensure the fit of the layers of the retina by laser exposure. Effect: reduced injuries of the operation, as well as operational and postoperative complications. The technical result can be obtained if, in the method of treating transudative maculopathies by puncture of the inner wall of the sub- or intraretinal cavity with its subsequent emptying, the puncture is carried out by YAG laser exposure in the lower or temporal zone of the cavity with 1-3 pulses, depending on the appearance of the transudate, with a power of 6-8 mJ each, while emptying occurs spontaneously in the vitreous.
