Abstract

FIELD: communication. SUBSTANCE: line ensures communication between railway passenger cars or underground cars. Multiplexer on one of cars multiplexes digital signals presenting conditions of cars and converts them into first digital signal of train line. Transmitter switches on modulator which converts digital signal of train line into radio signal and radio signal is sent from first car to second car through free space. Second car switches on antenna to receive radio signal and receiver to demodulate signal and convert it into second digital signal of train line. Demultiplexer demultiplexes second digital signal of train line into formats fit for reading by train systems on board second car. Both first and second cars switch on multiplexers and demultiplexers, transmitters and receivers so that it will be possible to communicate both between first and second cars and between second and first cars. EFFECT: higher operational reliability of communication line.
