Abstract

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method of detection and quantitative determination of antibodies in biological liquids uses immunologic reaction, during which sought for antibodies are incubated with corresponding antigen, one part of which is coupled with water insoluble carrier and other part is provided with mark. After phases separation and determination of marks number in liquid or solid phase components of analyzed sample may bind marked antigen with water insoluble carrier non-specifically and so giving false positive results. To produce correct results the reaction is carried out and incubation takes place in presence of surplus of unbound and non-marked antigen and after phases separation definite number of marks is also taken into account during qualitative estimation or quantitative analysis of antibodies. The technique is in particular applicable for analysis human being antibodies to rabbit globulin and in the case rabbit globulin is antigen. EFFECT: improved detection and quantitative determination of antibodies in biological liquids.

Claims (1)

The proposed method for the detection or quantification of antibodies in biological fluids through an immunological reaction in which the desired antibodies are incubated with the corresponding antigen, one part of which binds to a water-insoluble carrier, and the other part is labeled; after phase separation and determination of the amount of label, either in the liquid or in the solid phase, it is possible that the components of the analyzed sample will bind the labeled antigen with a water-insoluble carrier non-specifically, giving false positive results. To get the correct results, the same reaction is carried out, but the incubation takes place in the presence of an excess of unbound and unlabeled antigen, and after phase separation, a certain amount of label is also taken into account in the qualitative evaluation or quantitative analysis of antibodies. The technique, in particular, is convenient for the analysis of human antibodies to rabbit globulin, and the rabbit globulin is an antigen.
