Abstract

FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: system consists of ground complex of passive reflectors and on-board equipment for landing on runways which are not always used (temporary, spare runways). Device has radar, altimeter, program sensor of optimal altitude of glide trajectory, computer for calculating distance to runway, horizontal and vertical mismatch computers for determination of mismatch relative to preset glide trajectory. EFFECT: possibility of performing all-weather flight; compactness and mobility; minimum of signal equipment required for runway; unmanned operation of ground equipment; low cost; minimum labour required for operation of system; possibility of recording errors of flights. 7 cl, 3 dwg

Claims (1)

6 з.п. The present invention relates to aircraft systems that provide conditions for reducing the accident rate of aircraft at the most difficult stage of operation. The system includes a ground-based set of passive reflectors and airborne equipment to implement a number of tough and conflicting requirements, determined by the specifics of small or rarely used runways (private, temporary, spare): - all-weather, - compactness and mobility, - minimum signaling Runway, - the possibility of non-operator operation of ground equipment, - the low cost of the system, the minimum cost of its operation, - the ability to document piloting errors. The device comprises an airborne radar station, an altimeter, a software sensor for the optimal altitude of the glide path, a distance calculator to the runway, horizontal and vertical mismatchers with respect to a given planning path. 6 C.p. f-ly, 3 ill.
