Abstract
FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: process refers to technology of measurement of viscosity factor of fluid while conducting laboratory work in physics at higher educational institutions of various types. In compliance with known process of determination of viscosity of fluids by value of turning angle of viscosimetric body coupled to cylinders of different lengths is set in rotational motion by electric motor. Permanent coaxial magnets are attached to ends of viscosimetric body and magnetically controlled sealed contacts are placed in opposition to them. One of contacts is electrically connected to starting circuit and other one placed into stopping circuit of electric stopwatch Viscosity factor is calculated by formula, where N is modulus of twisting of viscosimetric body; c is constant of device; t1 tis value of time lagging of viscosimetric body with cylinder having length l; tis same but with cylinder having length l.
