Магнетрон с компоновкой в виде тороида, причем катод - центральный, радиуса R, а анод - внешний, содержащий резонаторы взаимодействия; такая компоновка позволяет применять мощные катоды, а анод, располагаясь на периферии конструкции, имеет пространство для размещения необходимого количества эндовибраторов, что делает прибор мощным и компактным. Магнитная система крепится во внутреннем пространстве радиуса R. Здесь же проходят проводники питания накала катода.
