Abstract

FIELD: iron-bearing pigment fillers made of production wastes, thermal power stations ash in particular and used in paint and varnish industry and building. SUBSTANCE: thermal power stations ash is made suspension in water and sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid are added in suspension till concentration achieves 50 -100 g/l with ratio of solid and liquid phases H : L = 1 : (3 - 5). Mixture is heated up to temperature of 50 - 75 deg C and held for 3 - 10 hours. After the holding suspension is filtered, liquid phase is sent in circulation and sediment is washed with water and calcined to produce iron-bearing pigment filler. To decrease pigment filler covering power index, sediment after acidic treatment is separated from liquid phase, suspended in water, iron compounds (+2) is introduced in suspension in amount of 20 -100 g/l b y FeO and suspension is held under air feeding for 5 - 10 hours under temperature of 70 - 90 C. Method allows to improve labour sanitary conditions and to produce iron-bearing pigment fillers of wide spectrum of action. Claims (1)

Изобретение относится к технологии получения железосодержащих пигментных наполнителей из отходов производства, в частности из золы тепловых станций, и может быть использовано в лакокрасочной и строительной промышленностях. Сущность изобретения заключается в том, что золу тепловых станций суспензируют в воде и вводят в суспензию серную или соляную кислоту до концентрации 50 - 100 г/л при отношении твердой и жидкой фаз Т : Ж = 1 : 3 - 5, нагревают смесь до 50 - 75oC и выдерживают 3 - 10 ч. После указанной выдержки суспензию фильтруют, жидкую фазу направляют в оборот, а осадок промывают водой и прокаливают с получением железосодержащего пигментного наполнителя. Для снижения показателя укрывистости пигментного наполнителя осадок после кислотной обработки отделяют от жидкой фазы, суспензируют в воде, вводят в суспензию соединения железа (+2) в количестве 20 - 100 г/л по FeO и при подаче воздуха выдерживают при температуре 70 - 90oC в течение 5 - 10 ч. Способ позволяет улучшить санитарные условия труда и получать железосодержащие пигментные наполнители широкого спектра действия.The invention relates to a technology for producing iron-containing pigment fillers from industrial wastes, in particular from the ash of thermal stations, and can be used in the paint and varnish and construction industries.
