Изобретение относится к области электротехники, в частности к погружным электрическим наревателям, обогреваемым трубопроводам, которые могут использоваться для нагрева различных жидких или газовых сред, в том числе и агрессивных. Цель изобретения - повышение эффективности работы нагревателя за счет снижения удельной поверхностно-тепловой нагрузки при одновременном повышении экономичности и надежности работы нагревателя. Поставленная цель достигается тем, что электрический нагреватель в форме тела вращения, имеющий трубопровод и нагревательный элемент в виде слоя электропроводного материала, отличающийся тем, что электропроводный материал выполнен из углеродной ленты, а трубопровод из композиционного волокнистого материала в виде стеклянной ленты, предварительно пропитанной жидкой фенольной смолой и отвержденной при 140 - 180°С, при этом углеродная лента расположена внутри стенки трубопровода.
