Длины волн этих световых сигналов определяют вторую базовую систему, имеющую с первой общий цветовой диапазон. Предусмотрены входная схема для генерирования не менее, чем трех электрических сигналов, пропорциональных сигналам основных цветов (R, G, B) или содержащих их в смеси, и блок управления световыми источниками, управляемый сигналами с входной схемы и содержащей схему, с помощью которой каждый цветовой тон преобразуется из первой во вторую базовую систему посредством матрицы.
