Abstract

FIELD: Application of lasers in medicine. SUBSTANCE: device contains guiding fiber path with He-Ne laser emission source 2 connected to guiding fiber 2, which has on its end a tube 3 with closed end 4 transparent for laser emission. On the tube 3, there is a biologically inert mouth piece 5 made in the form of ring with gutter 6 over its outer surface. Guiding fiber 1 in tube 3 is installed free to be displaced. Mouth piece 5 also may be displaced in tube 3. Tube 3 and mouth piece 5 are both replaceable. Method of treatment is as follows. Patient clamps mouth piece 5 with his/her teeth and places teeth in mouth piece gutter 5. Tube 3 with guiding fiber 1 is placed under patient's tongue next to affection site. Guiding fiber is displaced in tube 3 to such a position as to produce light spot size embracing affected site. The second end of guiding fiber 1 is connected with emission source 2. Once the latter is switched on, affection site, in particular, sublingual mouth region with multitude of nerve terminals is irradiated with emission power 2-3 MT, and duration of irradiation is 30-40 min. Number of seances ranges from 1 to 5. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of treating system diseases.

Claims (1)

5.The invention relates to medicine and can improve the effectiveness of the treatment of systemic diseases, a more rapid effect of treatment, a reduced effect of infection. The device with which the method is implemented contains a fiber-optic path with a He-Ne radiation source, a laser 2 connected to a fiber light guide 1 (BC), at the end of which there is a tube 3 with a blind end 4, transparent to laser radiation. On the tube 3 is placed an elastic bioinert mouthpiece 5, made in the form of a ring with a groove 6 on the outer surface. Fiber optic fiber 1 in the tube 3 is installed with the possibility of movement. The mouthpiece 5 can also move along the tube 3. The tube 3 and the mouthpiece 5 are interchangeable. Work with the device and, therefore, the treatment method is as follows. The patient captures the mouthpiece 5 with his teeth, places them in the groove 6 of the mouthpiece 5. A tube 3 with BC 1 is placed under the patient’s tongue at the site of the lesion. The sun 1 is moved in the tube 3, achieving the size of the light spot covering the affected area. The second end of the aircraft 1 is connected to the radiation source 2. Turning on the last, the lesion site is irradiated, namely the sublingual region of the mouth, where there are many nerve vessels, with a radiation power of 2-3 MT with a duration of 30-40 minutes with the number of sessions from 1 to 5.
