The aerosol fire extinguishing generator is made in the form of a housing with an aerosol-forming composition located in it, which generates fire extinguishing substances and gaseous products for spraying them upon combustion. It is characterized in that a part of the housing or the entire housing with outlet openings disposed thereon has a convex shape. The convex surface of the casing with exhaust openings creates a divergent flow of combustion products and provides effective cooling of the products when mixed with ambient air. There are various options for the shape of the body with a convex section to accommodate the outlet openings, including a cylindrical generator with end release of products through the convex cover, a cylindrical generator with outlet openings on the lateral cylindrical part of the housing, and a spherical generator with outlet openings over the entire surface of the housing or its part. If necessary, cooling elements formed from a plastic mixture of a cooling substance with a cementitious material, for example cement, clay or a heat-resistant polymer, can be placed inside the generator. As cooling substances, substances that decompose upon heating with absorption of heat are used — crystalline hydrates of metal salts, their carbonates, oxalates or oxide hydrates.
