Использование: производство режущего инструмента типа метчиков, фрез, сверл и т. п. методом порошковой металлургии. Задача: сокращение технологического цикла. Сущность изобретения: способ включает загрузку порошка в контейнер, вакуумирование, герметизацию, нагрев и последующую прокатку-ковку с коэффициентом вытяжки λ = 7-9. После удаления материала контейнера с заготовки осуществляют ее порезку на штучные заготовки, а затем подвергают экструзии для формирования режущей части инструмента при температуре на 10 - 60oС ниже температуры фазовых превращений.
