Способ предназначен для использования в измерительной технике при измерениях с высокой точностью разности фаз F0 двух сигналов. Цель изобретения: повышение точности измерений. Сущность изобретения: измерение разности фаз отфильтрованных сигналов, имеющих период колебаний T, производят с помощью двух мгновенных значений одного из сигналов, принятого из измерительный, зафиксированных в моменты времени t1 = T/8, t2 = 3T/8, выбранных на интервале другого сигнала, принятого за опорный, пользуясь следующим математическим выражением: F0 = m(g + Nn), где g = arctg [X(t1) - X(t2)] / [X(t1) + X(t2)] для случая, когда измеряемый сигнал x(t) опережает по фазе опорный сигнал Y(t); g = -arctg [(Y(t1) - Y9t2)] / [(Y(t10 + Y(t2)] для случая, когда измеряемый сигнал Y(t) отстает по фазе от опорного сигнала X(t); n = 0, m = 1 - для синфазных сигналов, F0 ≤ N/2; m = -1, n = -1, при g > 0 или n = 1 при g < 0 - для противофазных сигналов, N/2 < F0 ≤ N.
