Изобретение относится к разряду устройств для разделения и сортировки материала после дробления, в частности для отделения готового продукта при размоле твердых материалов в мельницах. С целью повышения экономичности, надежности работы, а также качества готовой продукции инерционный сепаратор снабжен соосно расположенными раструбом накопителя и направляющим раструбом, образующими между их стенками фиксированный кольцевой инерционный канал. Расстояние между кромками указанных раструбов определяется из выражения:

где d1 - диаметр раструба накопителя в максимальном сечении по кромкам, d2 - внутренний диаметр цилиндрической части корпуса сепаратора. Предполагаемый инерционный сепаратор при работе в пылесистеме с противоструйной мельницей позволяет снизить на 75-80% энергозатраты на транспорт мельничного продукта.
