The invention relates to the field of rocket technology and can be used for ground testing of engines in high altitude conditions. The challenge to which the invention is directed, is to eliminate the peak of the overpressure in the pressure chamber during the start-up period of the test engine and prevent the peak of the temperature in it when the diffuser is disrupted. This task is solved due to the fact that the high-rise stand is equipped with an actuator, made in the form of a hydraulic switch with a drive and valve. A window is made in the wall of the pressure chamber. The valve is installed on the outer wall of the pressure chamber in the vicinity of the window with the possibility of its overlap and is connected to the actuator drive. The hydraulic switch is made in the form of a housing within which pistons with shanks are installed in the cylindrical glass communicating through the cavity of a cylindrical cup. The work of the latter is controlled by the pressure of the test engine with the participation of the stopper, the pushers and regulators, the shells of which are mounted on the switch body. The regulator rods interact with the contact system of the hydraulic switch, providing a software connection of the drive winding to the power source. During the engine start-up period, the window is open and gas is released through it, pushed back by the gas piston into the pressure chamber from the gas path of the diffuser. This prevents the pressure peak in the pressure chamber at the start of the engine. Before starting the diffuser, the window closes as a result of the operation of the hydraulic switch and the actuator. Immediately before the diffuser breaks off, the window automatically opens due to the second actuation of the hydraulic switch and actuator, and the cold environmental gas fills the pressure chamber. The flow rate of cold gas is more than 60 times greater than the flow rate of hot gas rushing into the pressure chamber from the diffuser after its breakdown. This prevents the peak temperature in the pressure chamber at the end of the engine. This solves the problem and increases the reliability and quality of the high-altitude tests of rocket engines.
