Предлагаемый способ получения бис(2-хлорэтил)сульфоксида отличается от известного тем, что, с целью повышения выхода целевого продукта и степени превращения бис(2-хлорэтил)сульфида, а также упрощения технологии процесса, окисление бис(2-хлорэтил)сульфида проводят 30-35%-ным водным раствором перекиси водорода при нагревании (75-100oС). Выход целевого продукта количественный.
