Держатель оптического прицела относится к механическим устройствам, приспособлениям для оружия, позволяет повысить удобство эксплуатации посредством уменьшения времени съема ночного прицела при надежном и точном креплении прицела и содержит установочный и фиксирующий узлы. Установочный узел выполнен в виде двух пластин, скрепленных общими винтами, в которых расположены пальцы, регулировочные винты с контргайками. На одной из пластин (первой) установлено трапецеидальное основание, имеющее боковые грани в виде ласточкина хвоста. На этом основании расположена лагера с прижимной планкой. Фиксирующий узел включает валик, расположенный в отверстии первой пластины, ось 15, на конце которой закреплена ручка с фиксирующими элементами: подпружиненный шарик, размещаемый в одной из лунок ручки. На конце валика закреплен упор, конец которого входит в паз пластины. Пластины устанавливают на станине оружия и стягивают общими винтами. Лагеру размещают пазом на трапецеидальное основание, имеющего боковые грани в виде ласточкина хвоста, надевая на подпружиненный упор. На лагере располагают прицел и прижимают его крепежными винтами посредством планки. Ручкой фиксатора поворачивают ось до западения ее в выемку в валике, фиксируя положение держателя.
