Устройство относится к области материаловедения, преимущественно к области космической технологии, и позволяет добиться улучшения качества получаемого материала благодаря возможности проведения плавки различными способами, оригинальной конструкции нагревательного блока, позволяющей получать наиболее высокий температурный градиент и снимать с проплавляемой ампулы с исходным материалом практически все паразитное тепло. Предлагаемое устройство содержит корпус, систему охлаждения,по крайней мере один нагревательный блок, ампулу с исходным материалом, размещенную в держателях, закрепленных на корпусе, экраны. Каждый нагревательный блок снабжен корпусом, в боковых стенках которого расположены отверстия, соединенные с системой охлаждения, и выполнен в виде секций, а каждая секция состоит из нагревательного элемента с экранами, расположенными снаружи вокруг него, при этом секции расположены в шахматном порядке и изолированы друг относительно друга пакетами экранов, соединенных с боковыми стенками нагревательного блока.
