Устройство для сверления отверстий относится к обработке материалов резанием и может быть использовано в любых процессах, где требуется упругое прижатие вращающегося инструмента к обрабатываемому материалу. Применение изобретения позволяет повысить точность обрабатываемых отверстий, и ресурс станка, износостойкость режущего инструмента, снизить уровень шума при сверлении. Устройство для сверления отверстий содержит патрон для закрепления инструмента, установленный на оправке, включающей ведущий валик, в котором выполнены продольные полукруглые пазы для размещения в них шаровых шпонок, передающих крутящий момент ведомому валику. Кроме того, продольные полукруглые пазы выполнены также в ведомом валике, причем полукруглые пазы валиков в совокупности являются круглыми отверстиями для направления рядов шариков, а их оси смещены относительно поверхности разъема валиков в тело одного из них.
