Способ распознавания подлинности банкноты основан на определении наличия (отсутствия) магнитных чернил в краске (носителе), с использованием которой отпечатан номер на этой банкноте, и включает в себя запись сигнала информации с помощью магнитной головки записи и считывание записанной информации с помощью магнитной головки воспроизведения.
