Abrasive powder material is used for surface fine processing of products. The invention provides high abrasive ability at low cost. The inventive abrasive material containing silicon carbide, further comprises boron carbide, silicon boride and calcium oxide in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Boron carbide 3 - 4; silicon boride 9-11; silicon carbide 38 - 42; calcium oxide the rest. The invention allows for high abrasive properties to reduce the cost of obtaining a powder material due to the integrated use of mineral raw materials.
