Для повышения жаростойкости стальных изделий, упрощения процедуры и повышения технологичности процесса нанесения покрытий, обеспечения возможности обработки крупногабаритных изделий смеси порошков в виде водных суспензий, паст, красок наносят на поверхность стальных изделий путем окраски, обмазки, окунания, распыления или любым другим способом с последующим нагревом на воздухе или в любой другой среде, возможно даже в процессе эксплуатации изделия.
