Для повышения эксплуатационной надежности сооружения устройство содержит неподвижные стойки, наклоненные против движения снежных лавин и свободно подвешенные между стойками сетки треугольной формы и образующие в пространстве их шахматное расположение. Треугольные сетки со стороны верхнего бьефа двумя концами подвешиваются к вершинам смежных стоек, а другой конец анкеруется на дне русла к фундаментам. Сетки со стороны нижнего бьефа закрепляются верхним концом к вершине стоек и нижним концом - к анкерным фундаментам.
