Заявленная игла состоит из дугообразного, обоюдоострого стержня с надетыми на оба его конца фиксаторами. В настоящее время известны и нашли самое широкое применение различные конструкции игл, применяемые для лечения иглоукалыванием различных заболеваний. Так, из патента РФ №2286133 на изобретение известна игла для иглорефлексотерапии, состоящая из стержня с головкой, при этом второй конец стержня разъемно соединен с замком в виде фиксирующей насадки (съемного фиксатора). Головка стержня может быть выполнена объемной, пластинчатой или кольцеобразной, а фиксатор - пластинчатым или объемным, преимущественно, в виде насадки, имеющей глухое отверстие.
