Description
The proposed utility model relates to the field of measurement technology, in particular, to heat flux sensors.
(Патент №2242728 - прототип)The closest to the proposed solution is a heat flux sensor, comprising a sensitive element, consisting of a single-crystal silicon wafer with a layer of aluminum sprayed on it, containing a silicon substrate on which the membrane and thermocouples are sequentially placed, hot and cold junctions of which are located on the thick and thin parts of the membrane respectively, and the thermocouples themselves are connected to the battery. (Patent No. 2242728 - prototype)
Недостатком прототипа является сложность изготовления и эксплуатации запатентованного датчика, большие габариты, а также необходимость поддержания постоянной температуры на теплоотводящем основании (термостат).The disadvantage of the prototype is the complexity of the manufacture and operation of the patented sensor, large dimensions, as well as the need to maintain a constant temperature on a heat sink (thermostat).
The purpose of the claimed utility model is to simplify the design of the sensor.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the heat flux sensor including a single-crystal silicon wafer with an aluminum layer deposited on one of its sides, a sensitive element of a thermocouple is placed in the contact zone of the silicon wafer and the deposited aluminum layer, and an aluminum contact pad is placed on the opposite side of the silicon wafer .
Figure 1 shows the heat flux sensor.
Figure 2 shows a graph of the dependence of the density of the heat flux on thermo-EMF and contact temperature.
4.The sensor includes a silicon wafer 1, an aluminum layer 2 sprayed onto it, an aluminum contact pad 3, and a thermocouple 4.
4.An aluminum layer 2 is deposited on the upper side of the n-type 1 single-crystal silicon wafer, and an aluminum contact pad 3 is made on the opposite lower side of the silicon wafer, which is necessary for electrical measurements. In the contact zone of the silicon wafer with a sprayed layer of aluminum, a sensitive element of the thermocouple 4 is fixed.
3.For electrical measurements, the sensor is connected to a voltmeter 5, one of the terminals of which will be connected to the layer of deposited aluminum 2, and the second to the pad 3.
The device operates as follows.
Heat flux (Q) is supplied to the heat-absorbing surface of the single-crystal silicon layer (Fig. 1), which passes sequentially through the silicon layer, the contact zone of the silicon wafer with the deposited aluminum layer, and the aluminum layer is removed from the heat-transfer surface of the aluminum layer. In the contact zone of the silicon wafer and the layer of deposited aluminum, thermo-EMF arises, the value of which depends on the density of the heat flux and the contact temperature.
Before measurement, the sensor is graduated to obtain the dependence of the heat flux density on the thermo-EMF, which is approximated by a linear function (Fig. 2) for each contact temperature.
When determining the density of the heat flux, the temperature in the contact zone of the silicon wafer and the aluminum layer and contact thermo-EMF are measured. According to the data obtained from the calibration graph, determine the density of the heat flux.
The heat flux is determined by the product of the density of the heat flux by the area of the working surface.
The use of close contact, in which the distance between the contacting surfaces is commensurate with the size of the molecules, which ensures stability of readings under long-term cyclic thermal loads by maintaining the actual contact area, which is equal to the nominal in the ideal case.
The proposed utility model allows to measure the heat flux by the temperature in the contact zone and contact thermo-EMF without using the thermophysical properties of the sensor materials (as in the prototype), which allows to reduce the size of the sensor and simplify its design.
