In self-service stores, individually-packaged goods, such as razor blades and batteries, are usually displayed on retail display devices containing a vertical stand and rods with hooks or loops protruding from the stand, equipped with an upside-down label holder that is mounted on the free end of each rod with a hook or loop. A label with product information is placed in the holder.

The packaging of goods sold in this way contains a hole through which the rod hook can be passed so that the goods are suspended on a display device. Buyers can pick up goods from the display device by removing it from the hook by moving the label holder through the opening of the package.

Unfortunately, since the goods can be very easily removed from the demonstration device, nimble persons can quickly pull them off the holder, hide them and leave the store without paying for the goods taken. Thus, the currently known label holders of the type described above are only able to slightly complicate the removal of goods by the consumer, who must turn the holder to the appropriate position, usually in the plane of the hook or loop, so that the packaged product can be removed without hindrance. Obviously, this is not enough to ensure proper protective function.

The closest analogue of the proposed utility model is a technical solution according to US 5,645,175. The said patent document describes a protective label holder for consumer goods, comprising a part for receiving a label carrying product information for customers configured to insert packaged goods into the opening of the packaging, and a part mounted on a trade demonstration device for holding goods.

Utility Model Disclosure

The objective of this utility model is to provide a label holder with a high degree of protection that would make it difficult for customers to remove products from display devices.

The utility model is based on the idea that if both hands are required to move the label holder through the opening of the package, removing the goods can be prevented or made more difficult. Thus, since it takes more time to remove goods from the holder, or even someone needs help, the likelihood of theft from the store is reduced.

The objective of this utility model is solved by providing a protective label holder containing a part for receiving a label carrying information about a product for customers, made with the possibility of introducing packaged goods into the packaging opening, and a part fixed to a trade demonstration device for holding goods. A distinctive feature of the label holder is that it contains a lower part and an upper part connected by an intermediate part or parts, said intermediate part or intermediate parts being adapted to be mounted on a trade demonstration device. The holder also contains a socket located on the lower section of the lower part, consisting of two sections, while the socket is limited by the back plate and the front plate and contains a protective element. In the lower part, holes are made located on the lower part of the section, which is located above the socket, and in the working position of the label holder, the locking element and the protrusions of the upper part.

In a preferred embodiment of the protective label holder in accordance with the utility model, the protective element consists of parts mounted to rotate on the lower hinge fingers located on the rear plate of the lower part to ensure that these parts rotate to a position inside the socket; and a moving part for returning said parts to a starting position from a specified position inside the receptacle. A feature of the moving part is that it consists of a cylindrical element firmly attached to a pin located on the back plate of the lower part; and legs, which are connected at one end to a cylindrical element with the formation of legs and a cylindrical element of a single design. In this case, the corresponding free ends of the legs are connected to the parts of the protective element.

In another preferred embodiment of the protective label holder in accordance with the utility model, the parts of the protective element are provided with protrusions located on both sides of the upper part of these parts facing the cylindrical element of the moving part. The protrusions closest to the moving part are placed with the possibility of abutment against the wall of the socket while inside the specified socket, while the external protrusions are located outside the socket.

In yet another preferred embodiment of the protective label holder according to the utility model, the socket is formed by connecting the back plate and the front plate by protrusions on the front plate inserted snugly into the holes of the back plate, the connection of the back plate and the front plate being strengthened by a fastener, located under the moving part. The surface of the lower part, located above the socket, is preferably configured to receive a storage medium, and in another embodiment, the upper part contains a surface for applying information.

In all preferred embodiments, the implementation of the protective label holder in accordance with a utility model, this holder is made of transparent or translucent plastic.

Utility Model Implementation

Figure 1 shows a front view in expanded form of a protective label holder before preparation for use.

As can be seen in the drawing, the protective label holder, hereinafter, the device 1, essentially consists of two parts: the lower part 2 and the upper part 3, which are connected by an intermediate part 4 that performs a dual function. On the one hand, as mentioned above, these intermediate parts connect the upper and lower parts, and on the other hand, holds the device 1 in a predetermined position during operation. The latter function is described below.

The lower part 2 can also be divided into two main sections:

the upper section, on top of which the upper part 3 is bent to the working position, and the lower section, forming a slot 6 for receiving the protective element 7.

The slot 6 of the lower part 2 is formed by the rear plate 25 of the lower part 2 and the front plate 26, bent to the rear plate 25 through the intermediate sections 20 (figure 2).

The rear plate 25 and the front plate 26 of the lower part 2 are attached to each other by means of connecting elements 22, 23, 27, which are essentially formed by holes in the rear plate 25 and protrusions of the front plate 26, which can be inserted with a snug fit into these holes.

Thus, the rear plate 25 and the front plate 26 of the lower part 2 form a socket 6 where the security element 7 is located. The security element 7 will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 3. The front plate 26 and the rear plate 25 of the lower part 2 are securely fastened by protrusions and holes, as well as by means of a fastener 21 located between the parts 8 and 9 of the protective element 7.

The protrusions 14, 15 are located next to the intermediate parts on the surface of the upper part 3, which is connected to the lower part 2 and is equipped with a locking element 16 located in the upper region of the upper part 3.

Due to the flexibility of the intermediate part 4, the upper part 3 can be easily bent over the lower part 2 by snapping the protrusions 14, 15 of the upper part 3 into the holes 17, 18 of the lower part 2. The upper part 3 is attached to the upper part of the lower part 2 using the locking element 16 , which enters the hole 19 of the lower part 2. As can be seen in FIG. 2, a hole is made in the intermediate part 4, which allows the device to be installed in accordance with the utility model at a given location.

Figure 3 shows the protective element 7 located in the socket 6 of the lower part 2 of the device, between the rear plate 25 and the front plate 26 of the lower part 2. The protective element 7 consists of two parts 8 and 9 connected by the moving part 10. Details of the protective element 7 have the shape of flat bodies that

movably mounted on the pivot pins 28 located on the rear plate 25 of the lower part 2. The upper part of each of the parts 8 and 9 is provided with two protrusions 29 and 30. The parts 8 and 9 are located in the socket 6 of the lower part 2 of the device 1 so that, due to the formation of the connected front and rear plates 26 and 25 of the inner rim, restricting the movement of the protrusions 30, these protrusions always remain inside the socket 6.

Parts 8 and 9 are connected by a moving part 10, which consists of a cylindrical element attached to a pin 13 mounted on the rear plate 25 of the lower part 2, and legs 11, 12 connected to the cylindrical element with the formation of these legs and a cylindrical element of a single design. The legs 11, 12 are made of flexible material, therefore, while the parts 8, 9 move inward, in the direction of the arrows 31, 32, socket 6, the protrusions 29 of the parts 8, 9 move to the side walls of the socket 6. In this case, the protrusions 29 remain outside the socket 6 even after completion of the movement of parts 8, 9.

After removing the force from parts 8, 9, they return to their original protruding position due to the legs 11, 12 of the moving part 10.

The device 1 is shown in figure 4 in the operating position.

Under the working position is understood the situation in which the protective label holder for consumer goods is located on the sales display device in the store. The device 1 in accordance with the utility model can be applied in particular for goods in individual packaging.

Such products are usually displayed suspended on horizontal holding devices, such as rods with hooks or loop-shaped hooks. In this case, the label holder is located in front of the element on which the goods are held. The product’s packaging usually has an elongated hole or slot, which allows you to suspend the product on a trade demonstration device, and also allows the buyer to remove the product from the holder by moving the label holder through the hole in the package. Unfortunately, shoplifting often occurs in stores where products are displayed in the manner described above. Particularly often they steal small goods that are easy to hide, for example, batteries, drills, razor blades.

The purpose of this utility model is to prevent theft in stores, and this is achieved by making it difficult for the buyer to remove the goods from the holder.

The operation of the device 1 in accordance with the utility model will be described with reference to figure 4.

Buyers can remove goods from the fixture holding them only with both hands, that is, squeezing together the parts 8 and 9 of the protective element 7 with one hand in such a way as mentioned above that these parts go into slot 6 of the lower part 2 of the device 1; and then removing the goods from the holder with the other hand, moving the device 1 through the opening of the package.

After the goods are removed from the holder and the compressive force applied to the device 1 is removed, the parts 8, 9 of the protective element 7 return to their original protruding position.

The described operation takes a relatively long time and can be performed only with both hands, so customers who intend to steal the goods exhibited can be easily noticed by the store staff.

Returning to the description of the device 1, it should be noted that the label on which the product information is written (printed), that is, the name of the product, price, etc., is either placed on the outer surface of the upper part 3 of device 1 or is inserted between the upper part 3 and the lower part 2 before attaching the upper part 3 to the lower part 2.

The advantages of the device in accordance with the utility model are the simplicity and cheapness of manufacture, simple configuration, the need to use both hands to remove goods, which prevents theft from stores or reduces the frequency of theft.

A protective label holder for consumer goods, comprising a part for receiving a label carrying information about the product for customers, made with the possibility of introducing packaged goods into the packaging opening, and a part mounted on a trade demonstration device for holding goods, characterized in that it contains a lower part (2) and an upper part (3) connected by an intermediate part or parts (4), said intermediate part or intermediate parts being adapted to be fixed a demonstration device, a socket (6) located on the lower section of the lower part (2), consisting of two sections, the socket (6) is limited to the rear plate (25) and the front plate (26) and contains a protective element (7), and in the lower part (2) there are holes (17, 18, 19) located on the portion of the lower part (2), which is located above the socket (6), and which take the locking element (16) and protrusions (14) in the working position of the label holder , 15) the upper part (3). 2.
