The alleged invention relates to the field of household appliances, and more particularly to devices for washing windows.

It is known (1) a device for cleaning surfaces, containing a rotating brush, a pipe for supplying washing liquid to the brush and a pipe for draining the spent liquid. Such a device, although it has high performance, but due to the high cost and cumbersomeness unsuitable for domestic purposes.

Known sponge (2) a sponge for washing and cleaning surfaces, comprising a housing on which a porous element impregnated with a detergent is rigidly fixed. Despite the apparent simplicity, the effectiveness of such a device decreases as it is used, because contaminants removed from the treated surface adhere to the sponge, requiring cleaning.

The present invention eliminates the disadvantages inherent in the above device. This is achieved by the fact that the washing liquid flows under pressure through a flexible pipe and the channel in the handle of the brush body into a closed cavity inside the brush body, then the washing liquid is squeezed through the holes into the porous element and passes through it and gets onto the surface being cleaned. In this case, the porous element always remains clean, because the washing liquid emerging through the pores displaces contaminants adhering to it from the surface of the porous element. Further, a faucet switch is installed on the brush handle, thanks to which it is possible to switch from washing liquid to clean water for final processing of window glass. The proposed device operates as follows. The washing liquid 1 flows under pressure into the flexible hose 2. Then, through the crane switch 3 and the channel 4 in the handle 5, into the closed cavity 6 in the brush body 7. The cavity 6 is connected via openings 8 to the porous element 9.

Thus, the washing liquid 1 from the cavity 6 through the holes 8 enters the porous element 9 and through the pores in the sponge 9 reaches the glass surface. For the final cleaning of the glass, the crane switch 3 is moved to another extreme position. In this case, the supply of washing liquid 1 to the glass is stopped, and clean water 10 from the hose 11 begins to flow into the brush and onto the glass surface, removing residual cleaning solution from it.

Thus, this device, despite the simplicity of design. It provides reliable operation and high quality surface cleaning with a minimum flow rate of detergent.

Claims (1)

A window cleaner comprising a brush with a handle, a container with pressurized washing liquid and a flexible hose for supplying washing liquid to the surface of the glass being cleaned, characterized in that there is a cavity inside the brush body connected to the porous element by a system of openings through which washing liquid enters the porous element and then to the surface of the glass being cleaned.
