Поставленная задача достигается тем, что торговый автомат, содержащий отсек продажи товаров с блоком управления механизмами приема монет, выдачи товаров и возврата монет, дополнительно снабжен призовым отсеком, блок управления которого соединен с блоком управления продаж товаров посредством электромеханической, механической или электронной связи. Призовой отсек выполнен в виде пары дисков с симметричными диаметрально расположенными перфорированными кодами, которые установлены в едином корпусе с отсеком продаж товаров, как минимум, на одном валу, заканчивающемся ручкой-переключателем, размещенной на передней панели корпуса, причем один из дисков, являющийся дублирующим, закреплен на валу, а другой, являющийся приводным, установлен на валу с возможностью вращения от привода. Дублирующий и приводной диски с внещних сторон снабжены закрепленными в корпусе излучателем и приемником с фотоэлементами, связанным с блоком призового управления посредством блока сравнения кодов дисков.
