The proposed solution relates to the category of consumer goods and can be used as a means of oral hygiene. The human oral cavity is replete with microorganisms. Millions of microscopic “uninvited guests feed on leftover food on our teeth, gums and tongue. Thanks to them, the breath gets an unpleasant odor, the gums become inflamed, and the teeth are exposed to caries. If toothpastes and brushes are provided for teeth and gums, then the tongue, as a rule, remains a kind of reservoir of bacteria in the oral cavity. The papillae on the surface of the tongue create a large and uneven surface that promotes the accumulation of microorganisms and food debris, so the tongue is an ideal place for the development of bacteria. The plaque formed on the tongue consists of keratinized epithelial cells, bacteria, fungi and food gruel. Food debris that accumulates in the indentations between the nipples is not easy to remove. These residues are used by bacteria for their metabolism in other parts of the oral cavity.

The disadvantage of this tool is that it is not convenient for cleaning the root of the tongue and covers when cleaning a small part of the surface of the tongue.

It is also known a means for cleansing the tongue made with a cleaning edge welded to the working part of the cleaner (see US Pat. Prom. Sample No. 392386 from 1998). The known device is not durable enough and inconvenient to manufacture.

The proposed technical solution allows you to optimally solve the problem of working comfortably with the tongue cleaning tool, to provide the opportunity for optimal pressure on the tongue so as not to injure the surface of the tongue and most effectively remove the keratinized epithelium tightly connected with the tongue mucosa, clean the tongue root area without receiving an emetic effect, and also remove, if necessary, hair from the surface of the tongue. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the scraper to clean the surface of the tongue, containing the holder and the cleaner rigidly connected to it, the latter has the shape of a curved rectangular plate, the ends of which are bent towards each other, and the central part

made in the form of a semi-oval with a bent cleaning part, the holder is made of a convex grip part and a concave isthmus rigidly connected to it, while the ratio of the length of the scraper to the length of the isthmus is in the range of 2.0-4.5, the ratio of the inner radius of the isthmus to the inner radius of the cleaner is in the range of 0.5-2.5. In addition, in the proposed scraper, the cleaning part is bent at an acute angle to the sagittal axis. The ratio of the length of the scraper to the length of the cleaner is preferably in the range 1.3-5.5, and the ratio of the outer radius of the handle portion to the outer radius of the cleaner is in the range 1.2-4.5. The proposed scraper is made of environmentally friendly material, mainly food grade plastic.

The scraper holder has a convex-concave shape, and its size and shape provide the most convenient pressure on the surface of the tongue to be cleaned, allow plaque to be removed from the tongue as much as possible without injuring it, the dimensions are calculated by experimental data selection. The dimensions of the cleaner and holder allow using this device as for adults and children alike. The inclination of the cleaning part of the scraper towards the concavity of the handle also helps to most effectively capture a layer of plaque from the surface of the tongue.
