Claims

1. Toy (10, 100, 200) for pets, containing:

a body (20) having a top surface (22), a bottom surface (24), a top side (26), a bottom side (28), a left side (30) and a right side (32);

at least one of the upper and lower surfaces (22, 24) have a support portion (40, 42) for attaching the abrasive material;

the housing (20) contains an internal central cavity (70,122) for food;

and the toy has at least one opening (72, 74) formed in the body (20) for access to the internal central cavity (70) and providing partial or no access to the animal playing with the toy (10, 100, 200), to the stern;

at least one handle (80) projects from a group consisting of an upper side (26), a lower side (28), a left side (30) and a right side (32) of the body (20) for gripping the pet toy.

2. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one hole (72, 74) is formed in a group consisting of a top (26), a bottom (28), a left (30) and right (32) sides of the housing (20).

3. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 2, characterized in that at least one handle (80) and at least one hole (72, 74) are made on the same side.

4. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle (80) has an arched shape.

5. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 3, characterized in that at least one handle (80) has an arcuate shape and extends laterally on either side of the hole (72,74).

6. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that the body (20) contains a pair of arcuate handles (80, 82) extending from opposite sides of the body (20), and at least one hole (72 , 74), formed in one of the opposite sides.

7. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 6, characterized in that the body (20) contains holes (72, 74) made in each of the opposite sides.

8. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises at least one stop (50) protruding from at least one side of the surface (22, 24) containing the support part (40 , 42), at least one stop (50) protruding from at least one side near the support part (40,42).

9. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper surface (22) has an upper support part (40), and the lower surface (24) has a lower support part (42).

10. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it additionally contains at least one cavity (60) for accommodating the odor-bearing material.

11. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 10, characterized in that at least one cavity is formed in at least one upper surface (22) and lower surface (24).

12. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises an abrasive material attached to the surface of the support part (40, 42).

13. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle is made of rope or cord (150).

14. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it additionally contains catnip placed in the housing (20).

15. The toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 12, characterized in that it further comprises a mesh material (140) covering the abrasive material.

16. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a feather (160) attached to the body (20).

17. The toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises grooves (285) sized and positioned to allow contact with the teeth of pets for dental cleaning.

18. A toy (10, 100, 200) according to claim 17, characterized in that grooves (285) are provided on at least one handle (80).
