Description

The claimed invention relates to jewelry and bijouterie, specifically to devices for fastening decorative chains, watch chains, locks for bracelets, bracelets for watches, etc.

From the studied prior art, analogues of the claimed technical solution in terms of design and purpose have been identified.

So, an analog for its intended purpose is known - a box lock, shown in Fig.1a [https://img.allzip.org/g/94/orig/21069412_12718.jpg], the essence is a lock containing a base and a lid connected by a pin with the possibility opening/closing the lock.

The disadvantage of the known technical solution is insufficient fixation when fastening, which is performed by a single fixation, in contrast to the double fixation in the claimed technical solution.

Known analogue for its intended purpose - a box lock, shown in Fig.1b [https://juvelirum.ru/vidy-juvelirnyh-izdelij/braslety/zastyozhki-dlya-brasletov-kakie-zamochki-luchshe/?ysclid=l8ivj4x5l8563384565], the essence is a lock, all varieties of which are based on the use of two halves - a box with a hole and a latch, which is a bar folded in half with notches at the end. The latch is inserted into the box and, thanks to the notches, is held inside. The structure is reinforced with one or two fixing loops.

The disadvantage of the known technical solution is that the locking loops can cause the bracelet to catch on clothing.

The invention RU No. 2199253 "Folding clasp for a bracelet and a bracelet" is known, the essence is a folding clasp for a bracelet containing at least one plate with a swivel to ensure opening of the bracelet, characterized in that this or these plates are made of an elastically deformable material, capable of conforming in shape to the wrist of the wearer of the bracelet.

The disadvantages of the known technical solution is:

- insufficient fixation when fastening, which is performed by a single fixation, in contrast to the double fixation in the claimed technical solution,

- one-piece design, which complicates the process of putting on the hand and limits the choice of a comfortable bracelet size, since it is necessary to take into account the ratio of the size of the hand and wrist.

Known utility model RU No. 188299 "Jewelry lock", the essence is a jewelry lock, consisting of two pivotally fixed flaps, both flaps of which are in the form of hollow frames with protruding elements on both sides, at the end of the first flap there is a T-shaped pin, at the end of the second sash, respectively, a groove is made for a T-shaped pin with the possibility of hinged interaction, and a lid, which is a locking device, which is hinged on the second sash using a pin, while on the other side of the lid there are cuts for the interaction of conical protrusions with countersunk through holes located on first fold.

The disadvantage of the known technical solution is:

- inconvenience when fastening / unfastening, since the protruding visor at the lid is located not on the side of the lid, but in the longitudinal direction above its eyelet;

- less reliable functioning of the lid, since the working area of contact of overlapping parts that ensure the snapping of the lid, in the form of two leaves, is less than on the declared lock, which provides maximum contact between the parts;

– the possibility of greater contamination of the lock during operation, which is a disadvantage for jewelry, since there are hollow elements in which micro- and macro-cracks can occur during casting.

The jewelry locks identified from the studied state of the art are analogues of the claimed technical solution in terms of individual single features, therefore the prototype is not defined and the claims are drawn up without a restrictive part.

The technical result of the claimed technical solution is the expansion of the arsenal of means for the specified purpose by developing the original design of the jewelry lock, while, unlike analogues, the following is achieved:

– greater ease of fastening/unfastening, due to the design of the protruding visor, located on the side of the lid, and not in the longitudinal direction, as a result of which all movements of one hand are simple and natural;

– more reliable functioning of the lid, since the working area of contact of the overlapping parts that ensure the snapping of the lid, in the form of a common single plane, is practically maximum;

- less contamination of the lock during operation, which is important for jewelry, since there are no hollow elements, while all elements of the claimed lock fit as closely as possible to each other, since they form a single plane of the base, cover and end stops.

At the same time, the claimed jewelry lock is aesthetic, which is important for jewelry.

The following is a description of the claimed invention by the applicant.

When using jewelry and bijouterie with locks, for example, decorative chains, watch chains, locks for bracelets, bracelets for watches, etc., the reliability, aesthetics and ease of use of the lock connection are essential, therefore, the applicant has developed an original design of a jewelry lock ( hereinafter - the lock) that meets the specified requirement.

The claimed jewelry lock 1 (Figure 2, Figure 5) is made of metal alloys used for jewelry and bijouterie, and having the ability to elastic deformation, for example, from alloys of precious metals - gold, silver, platinum, etc., from non-precious alloys such as brass, bronze, etc.

Claimed jewelry lock 1 is assembled in the form of a flat box with a visor and consists in general of the following elements (Fig.3):

- base 2 with end stop 8,

- cover 3,

- tongue 4, consisting of a U-shaped part 10 and end stop 13,

- pin 5.

Next, the applicant provides a detailed description of the elements of the claimed lock (Figure 3).

The base 2 is made with a flat bottom side, and on the upper side a bed 11 is made in the form of two longitudinal grooves, comparable in size and geometry with parallel guides 15 with the possibility of placing them in the bed 11 when the lock is closed;

– from the end side From the base 2, an end stop 8 is made in the form of a bar protruding in height above the plane of the upper side of the base 2 by the thickness of the cover 3. The end stop 8 is made with a stop 9, the width of which corresponds to the distance between parallel guides 15 with the possibility of overlapping the transverse part of the U-shaped part 10 at the time of closing the lock 1, depriving it (U-shaped part 10) of the degree of freedom in the longitudinal direction;

- along the longitudinal side A of the base 2, a hinge element 16 and longitudinal holes 7 for the pin 5 are made, while the hinge element 16 is made with the possibility of fixing two hinge elements 17 of the cover, the size of the hinge element 16 is equal to the distance between the hinge elements 17, and the longitudinal holes 7 for pin 5 have a common axis with the longitudinal holes of the cover 3;

- the longitudinal side B has a complex configuration and is made with different radii of smoothing of its ribs with the possibility of snapping the cover 3. In this case, the radius of smoothing of the inner (upper) rib of side B has a greater value (compared to the radius of the outer rib) with the possibility of providing a gradual impact on the elasticity of the metal from which the cover 3 is made, which occurs during the snapping process and ensures the closure of the lock; the smoothing radius of the outer (lower) edge of side B has a smaller value (compared to the radius of the inner edge) with the possibility of snapping the cover 3 without its permanent deformation;

- in the base 2, a slot 6 is made for fixing the tongue 4, while the size of the slot 6 corresponds to the smaller size of the transverse part of the U-shaped part 10, while the geometry of the slot 6 is made with the possibility of inserting the transverse part of the U-shaped part 10 into it.

Lid 3 made in the form of a figure with a configuration limited on three sides by sides A, B, D of the base 2, and on the fourth side by an end stop 8, while the cover 3 on side A has two hinge elements 17 with longitudinal holes for the pin 5, and side B a visor 12 is made to ensure the convenience of fastening/unfastening the lock.

At the same time, the thickness of the cover is made with the possibility of forming, when assembling the lock, a single plane of its (cover) upper part with the upper side of the end stops 8 and 13.

The lid, at the request of the customer, can be made in a smooth form (Fig. 5a, 5b), with engraving (Fig. 5c, 5d), inlay, for example, with precious stones and / or semi-precious inserts (Fig. 5e, 5g).

The tongue 4 is made in the form of a U-shaped part 10 with an end stop 13 in the form of a strap similar in geometry to the end stop 8, with the possibility of a snug fit when fastened to the inside of the end side D of the base 2, while the height of the end stop 13 is made protruding above by the upper plane of the parallel guides 15 on the thickness of the cover 3. The transverse part 14 of the U-shaped part 10 is made offset relative to the lower plane of the guides 15 with the possibility of being placed in the slot 6 under the stop 9 and forming a single plane of the lower side of the base 2.

Thus, the dimensions and geometry of the sections of all parts of the tongue 4 are commensurate with the rest of the elements of the lock and are determined by the functionality of its operation.

The pin 5 is made in the form of a cylindrical element, for example, a rod, commensurate with the longitudinal holes 7 of the base 2 and cover 3 with the possibility of their movable connection. The pin 5 is fixed at the ends, for example, by riveting.

At the same time, the elements of the claimed lock are interconnected as follows: the base 2 with the end stop 8 and the cover 3 are movably connected by a pin 5 through the hinge elements 16, 17 and a cylindrical hole 7. The tongue 4 is designed to be fixed in the slot 6 under the stop 9 using P -shaped part 10 with further placement of the U-shaped part 10 in the box 11 with the possibility of forming a common single plane of the lower side of the base 2 and the U-shaped part 10 without gaps and protrusions relative to each other. Cover 3 is made with the possibility of snapping on top of the resulting structure, using the elasticity of the metal.

The dimensions of the claimed lock as a whole and, accordingly, its individual elements, depend on the type of product, the material used and the customer's requirements, which does not affect the achievement of the claimed technical result.

Further, the applicant describes the manufacture and assembly of the claimed jewelry lock.

The claimed jewelry lock is made in the following way.

First, a base 2 with an end stop 8, a cover 3, a tongue 4 with an end stop 13 are made, for example, by a standard wax casting method, or by hand, while the dimensions and material correspond to the customer's requirement.

As a pin 5, take any rod that is suitable in material and size for a particular product.

Next, the surfaces of the elements are mechanically treated to remove the casting layer and ensure a snug fit of all elements to ensure functionality and the absence of gaps and inconsistencies during assembly.

Next, the base 2 (with the end stop 8) is movably connected to the cover 3 with a pin 5 through the hinge elements of the base and cover 16, 17 and a cylindrical hole 7 (Fig. 4a). The pin 5 is fixed at the ends, for example, by riveting.

Then the tongue 4 is inserted with the transverse part of the U-shaped part 10 into the slot 6 at an angle of at least 45° to the plane of the base 2 (Fig. 4b) and the parallel guides 15 are tightly laid in the bed 11 (Fig. 4c, 4d). In this case, the end stop 13 of the tongue fits snugly against the D side of the base 2, and the stop 9 tightly fixes the transverse part of the U-shaped part 10 from above. projections relative to each other.

To prevent unauthorized separation of the elements by possibly lifting the tongue 3 relative to the base 2 with the removal of the U-shaped part 10 from the slot 6, the assembled structure is closed with a cover 3, for which the cover 3 is lowered onto the base 2 and snapped into place. At the same time, due to the elasticity of the metal, snapping occurs without irreversible deformation of the cover 3. In this case, the cover 3 forms a common plane with the upper parts of the end stops 8 and 13 (Fig.2a), and all elements of the lower part of the claimed lock also form a common plane (Fig.2b ).

Get the declared jewelry lock assembly (Fig.5a - 5g).

Any standard method, such as welding, is used to connect the inventive lock 1 to a piece of jewelry or bijouterie, such as a chain, bracelet, etc. At the same time, the edges of the jewelry are attached to the outer side of the end stops 8 and 13.

Get a piece of jewelry with the declared jewelry lock.

Further, the applicant gives examples of the implementation of the claimed technical solution .

Example 1 Production of the declared jewelry lock with a smooth cover for the watch bracelet.

Customer's task: to make a bracelet for watches from brass with the declared lock with a smooth cover, without engraving and inlay.

First, the elements of the declared lock were made by the standard method of casting on stencils according to the dimensions of the customer:

– base 16.85 mm wide plus end stop 2.85 mm wide, 20.7 mm high, 5.6 mm thick,

- 16.9 x 20.75 mm lid plus 2.25 mm visor.

- 16.85 mm wide tongue plus end stop 2.85 mm wide, 20.7 mm high, 5.6 mm thick,

- U-shaped part with a height of 9.9 mm;

- a pin with a diameter of 1.3 mm.

Then the base was movably connected to the cover with a pin. The pin was fixed at the ends, for example, by riveting.

Then the tongue was inserted with the transverse part of the U-shaped part into the slot at an angle of at least 45° to the plane of the base and the parallel guides were tightly laid in the bed. In this case, the end stop of the tongue fits snugly against the D side of the base, and the stop tightly fixes the transverse part of the U-shaped part. In this case, all elements form a common single plane of the upper side of the base without gaps and protrusions relative to each other.

They closed the assembled structure with a lid, for which they lowered the lid onto the base and latched it with a visor. In this case, due to the elasticity of the metal, snapping occurs without irreversible deformation of the cover.

We received the declared jewelry lock made of brass with a smooth cover assembly.

To connect the claimed lock with a bracelet for the customer's watch, the ends of the bracelet were welded to the outer side of the end stops of the base and tongue.

We received the finished product - a watch bracelet with a brass jewelry lock with a smooth lid.

The claimed jewelry lock looks aesthetically pleasing, while it is easy and convenient to fasten/unfasten with one hand, due to the design of the protruding visor located on the side of the lid. At the same time, the cover functions reliably, since the working area of contact of overlapping parts in the form of a common single plane is practically maximum. At the same time, during operation, the lock practically does not become dirty, since there are no hollow elements, and all elements of the lock fit as tightly as possible to each other. This proves the achievement of the claimed technical result.

Example 2 Production of the declared jewelry lock for a wrist bracelet with an engraving on the lid.

Customer task: to make a wrist bracelet with the declared lock from a silver alloy with an engraving on the lid.

First, the elements of the declared lock were made by the standard method of casting on stencils according to the dimensions of the customer:

– base 12.75 mm wide plus end stop 2.45 mm wide, 15.45 mm high, 4.0 mm thick,

- 12.7 x 15.45 mm lid plus 1.55 mm high visor,

– tongue 16.85 mm wide plus end stop 2.45 mm wide, 15.45 mm high, 4.0 mm thick,

- U-shaped part with a height of 6.6 mm;

- a pin with a diameter of 1.0 mm.

The cover is engraved.

Then the base was movably connected to the cover with a pin. The pin was fixed at the ends, for example, by riveting.

Then the tongue was inserted with the transverse part of the U-shaped part into the slot at an angle of at least 45° to the plane of the base and the parallel guides were tightly laid in the bed. In this case, the end stop of the tongue fits snugly against the D side of the base, and the stop tightly fixes the transverse part of the U-shaped part. In this case, all elements form a common single plane of the upper side of the base without gaps and protrusions relative to each other.

The claimed jewelry lock looks aesthetically pleasing, while it is easy and convenient to fasten/unfasten with one hand, due to the design of the protruding visor located on the side of the lid. At the same time, the cover functions reliably, since the working area of contact of overlapping parts in the form of a common single plane is practically maximum. At the same time, during operation, the lock practically does not become dirty, since there are no hollow elements, and all elements of the lock fit as tightly as possible to each other. This proves the achievement of the claimed technical result.

Example 3 Production of the declared jewelry lock for the chain with inlay of precious stones and semi-precious inserts on the lid.

The task of the customer: to make a chain of gold alloy with the declared lock, inlaid with precious stones and semi-precious inserts on the lid.

First, the elements of the declared lock were made by the standard method of casting on stencils according to the dimensions of the customer:

– base 10.8 mm wide plus end stop 2.35 mm wide, 10.95 mm high, 3.1 mm thick,

– a 10.8 x 10.95 mm lid, plus a 1.05 mm high visor, engraved on the lid,

- 10.8 mm wide tongue plus end stop 2.35 mm wide, 10.95 mm high, 3.1 mm thick,

- U-shaped part 4.5 mm high;

- a pin with a diameter of 0.7 mm.

The lid was decorated with inlay of precious stones and semi-precious inserts, for example, by gluing.

Then the base was movably connected to the cover with a pin. Pin 5 was fixed at the ends, for example, by riveting.

Then the tongue was inserted with the transverse part of the U-shaped part into the slot at an angle of at least 45° to the plane of the base and the parallel guides were tightly laid in the bed. In this case, the end stop of the tongue fits snugly against the D side of the base, and the stop tightly fixes the transverse part of the U-shaped part. In this case, all elements form a common single plane of the upper side of the base without gaps and protrusions relative to each other.

We received the finished product - a chain with the declared jewelry lock made of gold alloy with inlay on the lid.

The claimed jewelry lock looks aesthetically pleasing, while it is easy and convenient to fasten/unfasten with one hand, due to the design of the protruding visor located on the side of the lid. At the same time, the cover functions reliably, since the working area of contact of overlapping parts in the form of a common single plane is practically maximum. At the same time, during operation, the lock practically does not become dirty, since there are no hollow elements, and all elements of the lock fit as tightly as possible to each other. This proves the achievement of the claimed technical result.

The applicant explains that Examples 1 - 3 are given to illustrate the claimed technical solution and do not limit the scope of patent claims in terms of the dimensions of the jewelry lock elements and specific manufacturing materials, which depend on the customer's task.

Thus, from the above, we can conclude that the applicant has achieved the claimed technical result , namely: the arsenal of means for the specified purpose has been expanded by developing the original design of the jewelry lock, while achieving:

– ease of fastening/unfastening, due to the design of the protruding visor located on the side of the lid, as a result of which all movements of one hand are simple and natural;

- more reliable functioning of the cover, since the working area of contact of overlapping parts in the form of a common single plane is practically maximum;

- less contamination of the lock during operation, which is important for jewelry, since there are no hollow elements, while all elements of the claimed lock fit as closely as possible to each other, since they form a single plane of the base and cover.

Jewelry lock made of metal alloys used for jewelry and bijouterie, and having the ability to elastic deformation, containing a base with an end limiter of the base; cover; a tongue consisting of a U-shaped part and a tongue end stop; pin; at the same time, the base is made with a flat lower side, and on the upper side a bed is made in the form of two longitudinal grooves, comparable in size and geometry with parallel guides of the U-shaped part with the possibility of placing them in the bed when closing the jewelry lock; on the end side of the base, an end stop of the base is made in the form of a bar protruding in height above the plane of the upper side of the base by the thickness of the cover, while the end stop of the base is made with a stop, the width of which corresponds to the distance between the parallel guides of the U-shaped part with the possibility of overlapping the transverse part from above U-shaped part at the moment of closing the jewelry lock, depriving the U-shaped part of the degree of freedom in the longitudinal direction; on one longitudinal side of the base there is a hinge element of the base and longitudinal holes for the pin, while the hinge element of the base is made with the possibility of fixing two hinge elements of the cover, the size of the hinge element of the base is equal to the distance between the hinge elements of the cover, and the longitudinal holes for the pin have a common axis with the longitudinal cover holes; the other longitudinal side of the base is made with smoothing radii of its ribs, while the mentioned smoothing radii are made different from each other, and the smoothing radius of the inner rib of the base side is greater than the radius of smoothing of the outer rib of the base side with the possibility of providing a gradual impact on the elasticity of the metal of the cover and its snapping without irreversible deformations; a slot is made in the base for fixing the tongue, while the size of the slot corresponds to the smaller size of the transverse part of the U-shaped part, while the geometry of the slot is made with the possibility of inserting the transverse part of the U-shaped part into it; the cover is made in the form of a figure with a configuration limited on three sides by the sides of the base, and on the fourth side by the end limiter of the base, while the cover has two hinge elements with longitudinal holes for the pin on one longitudinal side, and on the other longitudinal side a visor is made with the possibility of providing convenience for fastening/unfastening a jewelry lock; wherein the thickness of the lid is configured to form, when assembling the jewelry lock, a single plane of the upper part of the lid with the upper side of the end stops of the base and tongue; the tongue is made in the form of a U-shaped part with the end stop of the tongue in the form of a bar, similar in geometry to the end stop of the base, with the possibility of a snug fit when fastened to the inside of the end side of the base, while the height of the end stop of the tongue is made protruding above the upper plane of the parallel guides U-shaped part on the thickness of the cover, while the transverse part of the U-shaped part is made with an offset relative to the lower plane of the guides of the U-shaped part with the possibility of placement in the slot under the stop and the formation of a single plane of the lower side of the base; the pin is made in the form of a cylindrical element, commensurate with the longitudinal holes of the base and the cover with the possibility of their movable connection; while the elements of the jewelry lock are interconnected as follows: the base with the end stop of the base and the cover are movably connected by a pin through the hinged elements of the base and cover and a cylindrical hole; the tongue is made with the possibility of fixation in the slot under the stop with the help of a U-shaped part with further placement of the U-shaped part in the bed with the possibility of forming a common single plane of the lower side of the base and the U-shaped part without gaps and protrusions relative to each other; the cover is made with the possibility of snapping on top of the resulting structure, using the elasticity of the metal alloy. 2.
